Leading up to the holidays our opening hours are shifting slightly as we prepare to close for a short break over the festive period and much of January.

December & January Hours

Wednesday 10th-Saturday 13th December: 10am–4pm
Wednesday 17th-Friday 19th December: 10am-4pm
Saturday 20th December: 10am-6pm with Helston Town Band playing festive carols from 4.30pm-6pm

Breakfast: 10am-11.30am
Lunch: 12pm-2.30pm

On Saturday 20th December we have Helston Town Band joining us from 4.30pm-6pm to see out our last day of the year with festive carols. Join us then for a glass of wine or mulled cider alongside a mince pie or bacon, prune and thyme steamed bun!

From 21st December we will be closed for a winter break, re-opening on Wednesday 28th January 2026!

Coffee and cake are served throughout the day, though during busy periods we may only be able to accommodate a brief time on a table in order to accommodate guests who are dining. We appreciate your understanding!

Parking
Wendron Street car park is located at the rear of CAST, with the rear entrance to the building located at the bottom of the granite steps. This is a private car park with payment required 24/7, via the ticket machine on site or the JustPark app. Just past the Wendron Street car park there is also a limited amount of free on street parking (if you’re lucky enough to spot an available space), and nearby Cornwall Council car parks can be found here.

Accessibility
CAST Café and the entire ground floor of the CAST building has wheelchair access and accessible toilet facilities. For visitors with limited mobility, we recommend arriving via the front of the building, where there is a ramp leading to the front door. Cars are welcome to pull up on the sloped front driveway, in order to see their party in, before parking elsewhere nearby.
